Character

    My favorite character is Peeta. He seems harmless.
    He doesn't seems like much competition. Although, Katniss seems to be thinking that he has a plan up his sleeve? Maybe he does, maybe he's useing reverse psychology on Katniss' mind.

    My favorite character is Katniss. She is brave, cunning, and very courageous. The reason she is my favorite is because she took her sisters place in the games. I think Katniss is going to win the Hunger Games because she knows how to navigate through the woods, hunt prey, and protect herself from danger. I also think the pin she was given by the mayor's daughter is going to help her win the games.

    P.S.
    Peeta would definitely be my second favorite because he is caring, generous, and strong. So what Julia is saying about Peeta I would agree with her on it.

    My favorite vharter is Gale, but the more i read the more i like Peeta. Somthing tells me even if they make it back Gale and Peeta will always be fighting over Katniss. Then again they have to make it back for that to happen.

    My Favorite Character Is Katniss. She's always confident and strong. Katniss risk her life for her sister, when she takes her sister's place. Not only do i think katniss will win the hunger games. I also think she will find love during the hunger games.

    My favorate charter is Gale. He loves katniss and in a way keeeps her goin though out the hunger games becasue she knows even if she dosn't make it though the games her family will always be protcted. Also if she dose make it though she knows her family will be safe when she will beable to find her family home safe and sound. The only problem is that she loves Gale, but she also loves Peeta. Its an unfair love triangle. Sadly I think she will end up with Peeta if they both make it home becasue they both went though the hunger games. They will understand each other if they have nightmares or flashbacks from the hunger games. Something Gale has never had to go though.

    My favorite character is Katniss. She is strong and i think corageus because she risked her life for her sisters life. She is important to the book because she is the main character and i think she will find love in the hunger games. I think she will fall in love with either Peeta during the games or maybe Gale if she wins. She is good with a bow and arrow so i think that will help her during the games.


    P.S.
    I agree with Amber in saying that Peeta is her second favorite character. Iagree with her on Peeta because he just seems like a good guy, and is trying to help Katniss through the games.

    I personally think Katniss is the best contender out there because, shes brave and knows what shes doing because her every day life is survival and hunting. She has a heart and cares for her familys saftey, especially her little sister when she took her place and put her life on the line on the hunger games. I mean shes got survival skills with a bow an arrow and can climb trees like a squrriel(pg.182). Yea sure shes got attitude and angermanagement problems but thats not the key to survival right?. I mean really? Who would you rather bet your money on?

    I like katniss because she well, is just the best charecter there is. She knows how to fight, and hide, and outsmart everyone. She even knew how to out smart the capital. She made everyone think that her and peeta were in love even if there not. And she knew just how to take care of peeta, when he needed her too.

    My favorite character is Gale. He's a tough guy that only shows a hint of sensitivity around Katniss and his family. He doesn't smile much, but that's because he's had to grow up so fast and care for his family. He's not really mentioned in the first book as much in the others, but he's still one of the best characters. He's in love with the main character Katniss and will do anything too protect her.

    P.S I agree with Britney about how he helped Katniss through the Hunger Games by being there for her, but not actually being there. I also agree that if Katniss and Peeta win Gale and Peeta will fight over Katniss.

    I agree with Rakeya J.. Katniss is dealing with alot of stuff like take caring of her little sister all by herself and also being in The Hunger Games. She is strong, brave, and she never stops doing what she has to do. She encourage me to never stop.

    i agree with amber williams on her favorite character cause katniss is a strong girl and knows what she is doing when comes to try to win the games. shes also a good big sister to take her little sisters place so nothing would happen to her.

    My favorite character in The Hunger Games would have to be Haymitch. I like him because he dosnt care what really happens until he meets Peeta and Katniss. It shows that no matter how bad someone can be messed up they can still care. I like how he sent messages to Katniss when she was in trouble. He is also really funny because he gets on Kattnisses nerves and is a rich drunk. Thats why he is my faviort chacter.

    I agree with chantal. Katniss is a really good person and puts people before her most of the time.

    My favorite character in The Hunger Games is Katniss. She's smart, brave, and loving. She wins The Hunger Games since she's tough. She cares alot for her family and friends. She saved her sister Prim's life, by going into the games.



    I agree with Rakeya about Katniss being my favorite character. She was right because Katniss did win the Hunger Games and she also found love.

    I have agree with amber because Katniss has advantages in winning the Hunger Games due to her knowledge of the forest. She might have some difficulties in aiding herself though.- Jacob Myers

    My favorite character is Haymitch. Mainly because he surprises everyone. At first he seemed like a drunken idiot. Along the way we find out he a smart person with a lot to offer. Haymitch is also my favorite character mainly because he doesn't take crap from anyone and is smart.

    my favorite character is katniss she is the bravest person i no. i have alot of respect for her because she took her sisters spot in the games. she was destined to win the games because she had experience with a bow and the woods a home field advantage.

    My favorite character is Rue. I love the way Katniss describes her. She seems so young and sweet. I think her death made Katniss wanna be a better person. It also gave Katniss the mide set that she needs to win. Not only for her but for Rue. The way Rue would sing with her "four note tone"(page 232) just made it seem as if she was a joyful soul.
